One of the top recommendation requests I get is for concealer. Tonight I’m going to share my top 3 highend concealers with you.
Starting with my current favorite the Tarte Shape Tape. I didn’t realize this product is an Ulta exclusive until I was talking about it with a friend. Shape tape is a little hard to come by these days because it’s so popular. Everyone loves it! If you happen to spot it, don’t hesitate. Grab it quick and don’t look back 😉 It covers dark circles and imprefections beautifully. It blends out like a dream. You can also use darker or lighter shades to highlight and contour. I also love that it doesn’t dry out my under eyes and it stays in place all day.
The wand is super sized and I love it! It makes applying quick and easy. I’m in the shade medium. Retails for $24 and worth every penny.
Next is the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer. This was my first highend concealer and was my ride or die for a very long time. It’s still one of my favorites. I love to use this on days where I don’t want to wear liquid foundation. I’ll pop some of this under my eyes and then just use a powder foundation on the rest of my face. It covers my dark circles and doesn’t crease that easily.
The wand is long and skinny. Very different than the shape tape but it does the job nonetheless.
Did you guys hear that NARS products are now available at Ulta!? I don’t see this concealer on the website just yet but it is available at Sephora and retails for $29. I’m in the shade Biscuit.
Last but certainly not least is Urban Decay’s Naked Skin Concealer. This is such a lightweight and comfortable concealer. You might think lightweight means crappy coverage but that’s not the case with this concealer. It’s a buildable concealer but it covers my dark circles in just one application.
What I love most about the wand on this concealer is that it’s flat on both sides. Because of this it picks up double the product. I’ll use the product on one side for one eye and then flip it over to do my other eye. No need to stick the wand back in the tube between eyes. Some may think that’s not that big of a deal but when you’re a mother of two small boys every second counts 😉
I’m in the shade Med-Dark Warm. This product can be found at most beauty retailers and is priced at $28.
There is no concealer out there that is 100% crease proof but I’ve found that these three do wonders with keeping creasing at bay. Don’t forget to immediately set your concealer with a powder to help prevent creasing as well.
What is your holy grail concealer? Let me know in the comments below if you’d like to see my top 3 drugstore concealers. I’d be happy to do a blog post on that as well.
Thank you so much for reading! Until next time, lots of love!
