Hey there dolls! I’m bringing you my very first monthly favorites post today. I hope to do these every month but don’t hold me to it. 😉 I limited myself to 10 items and will most likely do the same for future posts. Click on product names to be redirected to sites where you can purchase. Let’s get this show on the road.
Too Faced HangoverRx – $32 This replenishing face primer is a holy grail product for me. Initially I thought it wouldn’t work for me as my skin is more towards the oily side but it does a wonderful job at keeping my skin hydrated without looking greasy. My skin feels smooth, my makeup up glides on so easily and lasts beautifully throughout the day. It is infused with coconut water and smells amazing.
MAC Cosmetics Cremesheen Glass – $21 This is a limited edition shade from the It’s A Strike and the shade is called It’s A Strike as well. It is sold out on the MAC site as well as Nordstrom and Macy’s. I was able to locate it on the Belk website. It’s such a beautiful nude. I’ve never tried this formula and I love it. The pigmentation is awesome and it doesn’t feel sticky on the lips.
Jeffree Star Skin Frost – $29 This one is in the shade Peach Goddess and is currently sold out but will be restocked. Click here for instructions on how to add my beauty releases calendar to your phone so you don’t miss a thing. I gravitate to highlighters that are more pink than gold and this one is perfect for me. These pans are huge, 15g of product! You are getting your money’s worth for sure.
Tarte Shape Tape – $24 I’m in the shade Medium. This product can be used for concealing and contouring. I use mine to conceal and it does an amazing job. It’s full coverage and hydrating. It blends out like a dream, covers dark circles, is long lasting, and it does a great job at keeping creasing at bay. The formula is fantastic.
Smashbox Always On Matte Liquid Lipstick-$24 I’m loving this shade called Big Spender. It’s such a perfect rose color. The formula of these lipsticks are wow wow wee waa!! Pigmentation is amazing, super hydrating, glides on easily, long wearing, and transfer proof. It’s simply perfection. This formula is in my top 3 favorites of liquid lipstick. So so good!
Cargo Swimmables Blush – $26 This water resistant blush is in the shade Los Cabos and is so flattering on my olive skin tone. It is truly water resistant, sweat-proof and weatherproof. It’s a beautiful soft tangerine orange with a little bit of a golden shift. I just love it and the tin packaging!
Maybelline Brow Drama – $7.99 I love my Anastasia Beverly Hills tinted brow gel but this does the job just as well and is super affordable. No brainer if you ask me. I like how the wand has the circular tip, it makes running it through the brows a little easier. It does an amazing job keeping your brows in place without clumping or flaking.
Make Up For Ever Custom Trio – $44 I’m loving this trio I put together of Make Up For Ever eye shadows. The shades are so perfect for fall. I have two matte shades and one shimmer. These shadows are beautifully pigmented and blend like a dream. I think I’m going to put together a neutrals trio soon. 🙂 The shades numbers from left to right are M-600, D-826, and M-846.
Bobbi Brown No Smudge Mascara – $28 I have the most stubborn straight lashes so waterproof is the only option for me if I want them to hold a curl. This mascara does a wonderful job doing that. Super black, doesn’t clump or flake, separates lashes, and of course it is smudge proof.
Wet n Wild Photo Focus Setting Spray – $4.99 Another great affordable product. I’ve been using this setting spray non stop this month. I’m pleasantly surprised at how it keeps my makeup lasting throughout the day. It also has aloe in to help keep the skin hydrated. It’s lightweight and feels great. A few sprays and you’re go to go.
I hope you enjoyed this post. I had lots of fun writing it up and playing around with formatting. What are some of your current favorites? Let us know in the comments below.
Talk to you soon and lots of love!
